At PNW Reptile Bites, we are committed to providing you with a healthy and thriving chameleon. Our 72 Hour Live Guarantee is designed to give you peace of mind when purchasing your new pet.

Coverage Details:

  1. Guarantee Period:

    • The guarantee covers your Panther Chameleon or Mourning Gecko for 72 hours from the time of delivery or in-person pickup.

  2. Health Concerns:

    • If your animal shows signs of illness, lethargy, or abnormal behavior during this period, contact us immediately. We will guide you through the next steps, which may include health assessments, husbandry adjustments, or replacement options if appropriate.

  3. Replacement or Refund:

    • If the animal passes away within the guarantee period and proper husbandry requirements were met, we will offer a replacement of similar value (based on availability). Refunds are not issued unless no suitable replacement is available.

Client Responsibilities:

  1. Husbandry Requirements:

    • You are responsible for providing the proper habitat, care, and environment for your chameleon.

    • This includes:

      • Temperature & Humidity Control: Correct basking, ambient temperatures, and humidity for the species.

      • Lighting: UVB and full-spectrum lighting must be provided (for chameleons).

      • Diet: A varied diet of gut-loaded, calcium-dusted feeders.

      • Hydration: A misting system or regular hand misting to provide proper hydration.

  2. Proof of Proper Care:

    • We may request photos or videos of your pet’s enclosure setup and care routine if a claim is submitted under this guarantee.

  3. Notification Timeline:

    • If an issue arises, you must notify us within the 72-hour guarantee period. Delayed reporting may void the guarantee.

Exclusions:

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Improper Husbandry: Death or illness due to poor care or inadequate setup.

  • Environmental Conditions: Stress caused by extreme temperatures during unboxing or transport delays due to the buyer's unavailability at delivery.

  • Injury or Accidents: Harm caused by mishandling or other avoidable incidents.
